We created this tour to show you the best our hometown has to offer!
On this tour we introduce you to the main sights of Sintra, always accompanied by its stories and historical context:

We will begin in the Correnteza Garden – only 5min from the train station. Then we’ll head towards the City Council. On the way to the National Palace, we’ll make a few stops surrounded by nature and historical remains. We’ll visit the Saint Martin’s Church, many fountains, the Lawrence Hotel (the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula), and we finish the tour near Quinta da Regaleira — the most beautiful garden in Sintra (and Lisbon) which we truly recommend to enter after our tour.

Along this route we will give you a general idea of the History, the monuments, the romantic arquitecture and the mystical atmosphere that make our Sintra the fairytale it is. Halfway through, we’ll also take a break so you can use the toilet and buy some of the best pastries from Sintra: queijadas and travesseiros!
Here we promise quality and authenticity. And a good vibe too!

Finding us is easy. Our meeting point is just a 3-minute walk from Sintra train station, making it the perfect place to start your journey through the town’s stories, history and hidden corners.

  1. Exit Sintra Train Station.
  2. Turn right and walk along Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda.
  3. Take the first left onto Alameda Combatentes da Grande Guerra.
  4. We will be waiting for you at the meeting point, in front of Micas Café & Gelataria, in Jardim da Correnteza.

Yes, we strongly recommend reserving your spot, especially during weekends and high season. Or even to make sure there will be a guide waiting for you!

Can I bring children?

Absolutely! Our tours are family-friendly, and children are very welcome.

Is the tour accessible?

Yes. The route is mostly accessible, but please let us know in advance if you have specific mobility requirements so we can advise you accordingly.

Can I bring my dog?
