2. Bookings

Free Walking Tours

Our free walking tours require advance booking through our website.

Although the tours are free to join, they operate on a tip-based model, allowing participants to contribute an amount they feel reflects the value of the experience.

Private Tours

Private tours are available by request only.

Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a reservation. A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email from Lamiré Tours.

3. Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your booked tour, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible so that your place can be offered to another participant.

Lamiré Tours reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify tours due to:

• Severe weather conditions
• Safety concerns
• Guide illness
• Insufficient participants
• Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

Whenever possible, affected participants will be informed in advance.

4. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to take part in the walking tour.

Please:

• Wear suitable footwear and clothing.
• Bring water, especially during warm weather.
• Follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
• Respect local residents, monuments and public spaces.

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the tour.

5. Health and Safety

Our tours involve walking through public streets, parks and historic areas, which may include uneven surfaces, stairs and hills.

By joining a tour, participants acknowledge these conditions and accept responsibility for their own safety during the experience.

6. Liability

Lamiré Tours takes reasonable care to provide safe and enjoyable tours.

However, we cannot be held liable for:

• Personal injury resulting from participant negligence
• Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings
• Delays caused by traffic, public transport or weather
• Events beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Portuguese law.
